Sunny Leone trumps PM Modi, Salman as most searched celebrity on internet

There's no stopping Sunny Leone. Is there?
The former pornstar-turned-Bollywood actor has left behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Sultan of Bollywood Salman Khan to emerge as the most searched celebrity in India, five straight years in a row, according to a list released by Yahoo! India.
Leone was on number one followed by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal coming in at three. Salman came in at four.
Salman Khan, however, was on the top of the list of most searched male celebrities. Salman has had a golden run at the box office this year, with his film Sultan, grossing above Rs 300 crore domestically. The second celebrity in the list of top ten searched males was stand-up comedian and TV star Kapil Sharma.


Salman's Sultan co-star Anushka Sharma ranked 10th on the list of top ten female celebrities seached in India. Sunny Leone at number one was followed by Bipasha Basu on number two with Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaid and Priyanka Chopra coming in at 3, 4 and 5.
Alia Bhatt, who has given some of the year's best performances, among the ladies, in films like Kapoor & Sons, Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi, somehow, did not figure in the list.
